Ciné Tapis Rouge and 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival launched in Quebec (only) a short film contest to promote human rights through cinema.

About

A short film contest that invites Québec filmmakers (exclusively) to create a short film on one of the following themes:

  • Women's rights / gender equality;
  • Migration;
  • Tolerance or elimination of tensions between different social groups.

10 films selected by a jury will be screened at the next edition of the 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Bangkok, and as part of Ciné Tapis Rouge's Focus on Quebec cinema.

The director of the winning film of this top 10 will be invited to accompany his/her film in Hong Kong and Taiwan in May 2020 (Flight and accommodations offered).
